There are three versions of necktie accessory to hold your tie in place: tie bars, tie clips and tie pins.

Tie Slides - The tie slide is a sleek piece of metal that is slid across the middle part of the tie in order to attach the tie to a shirt.
Tie Clips - A tie clip is similar in function to the tie bar. It is clipped horizontally across the tie, and is then attached to the shirt.
Tie Pins - The tie pin or tie tac consists of two parts, the pin and the face. The pin is placed through the tie and reconnected to the base on the underside.
